Tech and Safety in a Rugged Package

In the realm of compact SUVs, the 2024 GMC Terrain embodies a balance between rugged style and practical functionality. As the most diminutive offering in the GMC range, this compact SUV sits below the midsize Acadia and shares its platform with the Chevrolet Equinox. Unaltered from the previous model, the Terrain continues into 2024, following its recent updates in 2022 and minor adjustments in 2023. Competing in the compact SUV category, it faces off against rivals like the Kia Sportage, Mazda CX-50, and Honda CR-V.

    New for 2024
The 2024 Terrain has a few minor updates. Two new exterior colors are available for an extra cost: Riptide Metallic and Downpour Metallic. The GMC Pro Safety Plus which includes Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Park Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert is now standard on the AT4 trim and available on the SLE and SLT trims.

The 2024 GMC Terrain is a compact SUV that offers a combination of performance, comfort, and technology. The 2024 GMC Terrain comes with a 1.5L turbocharged engine that delivers 175 horsepower and 203 lb.-ft. of torque. It also has a 9-speed automatic transmission. It also gets an EPA-estimated 23 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

The interior of the 2024 GMC Terrain is available in Jet Black or Medium Ash Gray. It also has heated and ventilated seats, and an available heated steering wheel. The Terrain also has a spacious cargo area with 63.3 cubic feet worth of maximum cargo volume.

    Technology
The technology in the 2024 GMC Terrain includes a Head-Up Display, Alexa Built-in, and High Definition Surround Vision. The Terrain also has a standard infotainment system with a touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a seven-speaker audio system. Available upgrades include an 8-inch touchscreen, a Bose premium audio system, and a wireless charging pad.
